I am pleased to announce that
DotNetNuke 6.0.2 is officially released. This maintenance release further solidifies DotNetNuke 6.0 and resolves a few outstanding issues which were not addressed in the 6.0.1 release. Like with the 6.0.1 release, our goal was to continue providing quick resolution of outstanding issues to ensure that customers could upgrade to the 6.x platform with little difficulty. Like with the 6.0.1 release, our goal was to continue providing quick resolution of outstanding issues to ensure that customers could upgrade to the 6.x platform with little difficulty. As with any release, we recommend you perform a complete file and database backup before performing any upgrade on a production website and that you first conduct a trial upgrade on a staging version of the site. Following these guidelines will ensure that you are able to recover should any unforeseen problems arise during the upgrade process.
Major Highlights
- Fixed issue in the Commerce Module when setting a Billing Address
- Fixed issue in the Commerce Module when saving an order without a Billing Address
- Fixed issue in the user role assignment area when the required fields are missing
- Fixed issue with the cancel button in the HTML module settings
- Fixed issue with publishing notifications when a user navigates to a page
- Fixed issue in the Login URL in child portals
- Fixed error in the File Caching Provider when the expiration date is missing or in the wrong format
- Fixed issue with new lists not showing until updating the sytemlist entry in the database
- Enhanced the error handling and logging when exporting portals
- Fixed issue which would cause the Trial License message to appear in WebFarms
- Fixed issue with the License Activation Manager using IIS7.0 and .Net 4
- Fixed issue with the Commerce module when SMTP uses SSL
- Fixed issue in the module editing drop-down caused by GZip compression
- Fixed issue where SendMail API was throwing validation error on valid email address
- Fixed errors generated when clicking on the help button in the Module Manager Popup section
- Fixed issue in the Import / Export features
- Fixed help text in the Edit Extension Settings Section
- Updated to the Q2 2011 release of Telerik RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX
- Added new video and audio formats to the list of default allowed extensions
- Fixed issue when creating lists with the same name in a site
- Added a new log type when a page is created
- Updated the Extensions Feed to display the Extension Name instead of the Unique Package Name
- Fixed issue in the FormatEmail function
- Fixed issue in the HTML Template Manager
- Integrated the latest version of DDR Menu
- Changed default regular expression in the user name creation to remove the 5 chars minimum
